According to Florida Realtors, sales of existing single-family homes rose <strong>by 2.4 % in April 2026<\/strong> compared to the previous year, while condo and townhouse sales rose by as much as 6.9 %. Pending sales also increased. The median price for single-family homes was 420,000 US dollars, up 1.8 % on the previous year, while condos and townhouses remained stable at 315,000 US dollars. Redfin also reported an increase of 1.8% in the median price for March 2026, although marketing times remained long at 77 days.    <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Florida remains a <strong>sought-after real estate location<\/strong>, but the market is no longer characterized by price surges across the board. Buyers are comparing more closely, financing has become more expensive and many sellers have to calculate more realistically. At the same time, the supply in many <a href=\"https:\/\/www.florida-scout.com\/en\/regions\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.florida-scout.com\/regionen\/\">regions <\/a>is still large enough to give buyers more choice.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The difference between single-family homes and condominiums is particularly interesting. <strong>Single-family homes <\/strong>are more stable in many places, especially in sought-after residential areas with good infrastructure. The <strong>condo market<\/strong> remains more sensitive because, in addition to the purchase price and financing, HOA fees, insurance, reserves and possible special levies also play a greater role. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For buyers, this means that Florida will <strong>not be an easy bargain market<\/strong> in 2026, but a market with better entry opportunities than just a few years ago.
