So far, everything has been just a prelude. But when the bricklaying work begins, the structure takes on the appearance of a house for the first time. Here we go! The walls are built directly on the previously poured <strong>plinth <\/strong>of 40 x 20 cm hollow bricks in a bond. They must be placed on the <strong>reinforcement bars <\/strong>, if any are available.     <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Finally: <strong>the shell work begins<\/strong> and with it an important stage in the construction phase. A great feeling, even if completion is still unimaginable at the moment.   <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The fact that the walls are perforated in the lower area has nothing to do with Swiss cheese. Rather, it must be demonstrated to the inspector during the <strong>acceptance of this work<\/strong> that all reinforcing bars have been placed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After acceptance and before the<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.florida-scout.com\/en\/house-construction-report\/tie-beam\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"6970\"> tie beam<\/a><\/strong> (ring beam) is poured, the holes are shuttered again. Then enough concrete is poured into the hollow blocks from above so that the base, wall and tie beam form a single unit. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So no more \u201csave your wooden house\u201d <strong>when the hurricane comes<\/strong>. Nowadays, new buildings can easily withstand the stresses and strains up to level 3.
