class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It is thanks to real estate developer <strong>Tony Goldman<\/strong> and his daughter Jessica, who died in 2009, that this vision became a reality. Goldman&#8217;s simple but ingenious idea was to use the windowless warehouse walls as giant canvases for street artists from all over the world, such as <strong>Shepard Fairey<\/strong> and <strong>Ron English<\/strong>. With this initiative, he not only saved the historic Wynwood district from decay, but also created a cultural hotspot that now attracts millions of visitors every year.    <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">His daughter <strong>Jessica Goldman Srebnick<\/strong> was CEO of Goldman Properties for many years. She further developed her father&#8217;s vision and made the Wynwood Walls internationally known by bringing renowned street artists to Miami.
