The dimensionally stable door leaves made of pressboard are beyond high-tech. The hinges? Let&#8217;s not talk about that. Sure, there are doors like those in Germany, but you can&#8217;t afford them. So we&#8217;ll never be able to leave the bedroom silently at night without our partner noticing.     <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The surrounding <strong>door frames and skirting boards<\/strong> (trims) are all nailed on individually, the nails and butt edges are caulked later. You will always see it, but at some point it will no longer be visible. We deliberately didn&#8217;t want the usual stepped trims, but rather very smooth, simple, modern trims with no frills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step Ceilings: Modern with indirect LEDs<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We have a so-called <strong>step ceiling<\/strong> in the living room and bedroom with a higher central ceiling. This is typical in Florida living rooms.   <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Because we wanted a <strong>modern look<\/strong> here too, we drove all the way to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.florida-scout.com\/en\/gulf-coast\/naples\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.florida-scout.com\/golfkueste\/naples\/\">Naples <\/a>to pick up the curved moldings. Behind the strips is an LED snake for pleasant, color-selectable <strong>indirect lighting<\/strong>. That&#8217;s a really nice touch with the step ceilings. It really enhances the room.   <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Fitted wardrobes with and without Ikea<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-uagb-container
